Since graduating with a B.A. in German in 1998, I wanted to work in the airlines in an operational capacity. I got my Dispatch License in early 1999 and worked for Mesa for two years. After that, I got a job at a major airline in August 2000, and I have worked in both aircraft scheduling and Atlantic fare pricing. I have been a dispatcher there since 2007. During a short time I was laid off in 2002, I earned my MPA in Aviation.
Someday I’d like to get into airport management at a medium to large hub airport.
